Jo Reeves is an award-winning portrait photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Known for her striking images and signature look, her unique portraiture style is easily recognized. She loves working one-on-one with her clients, and has a warm and friendly personality that makes each shoot relaxed and enjoyable for all.
Giving back to the community has always been very important to Jo. She was honored to be selected as a photographer for Flashes of Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating powerful, uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. She feels extraordinarily blessed to provide families with photographs of their precious children that they can treasure for years to come.
As part of her philanthropic efforts, Jo has also enjoyed being the official photographer for the Atlanta Charity Clays, which has raised close to five million dollars for a variety of children's groups in Atlanta. Additionally, all of the proceeds from her limited-edition Cowboy Collection — commissioned by native Atlantan Amy Lance — have benefited the therapeutic riding program at Chastain Horse Park. Her work can be seen at the permanent art installation of twelve 48” x 48” pieces at Sutton Middle School, which highlight the attributes of the International Baccalaureate student.
Jo loves to travel, and has designed collections of stunning images from New York, Paris, and London. Her unique compositions capture the majesty of these historic international landmarks, and are available in a variety of sizes and configurations. Her fine art photography pieces are signed and printed on 100% cotton archival paper.
Jo resides in Atlanta with her husband Brad, and Nestle, their adorable brown dog. They have two college-aged children: Bradley, a sophomore at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and Lindsey, a first-year at the University of Virginia — Wahoowa!
