I absolutely love being a photographer and am thankful to have a gift that helps others in so many ways. I am always looking for meaningful ways to give back to my community.
This Project began May, 30, 2020. I offered a day of 30 minute sessions with a suggested donation. I was so happy to have such a lovely response to this Project. We were able to raise $1000. This money was given to The Link Counseling Center.
Since, our first day was so successful, I plan to offer this twice a year in late spring or early summer and then over winter break. These sessions are open to any of my clients. It is important to me to have an established relationship so that this time will be even more meaningful. They will be low key, you know me so what else would you expect! While creating stunning black and white portraits, we can catch up and chat about life. It has been such a unique year for sure!
Donations of $250 or more are tax deductible and paperwork will be provided from the Beneficiaries.

My inspiration for Portraits with a Purpose came from Thomas Nguyen who created The Project Beauty. He set up these mini sessions as a fundraiser to give back to organizations that offer mental health services to teens. His concept inspired me to do something similar but add my own personal touch since I want it to be open for guys and girls. I reached out to Thomas and he gave me his blessing to create Portraits with a Propose.
