Jo is an award winning photographer who specializes in natural light portrait photography. Jo is well known for her striking and authentic images. It is easy to spot her unique style. Her warm and relaxed style puts everyone at ease.
Her studio location is close to Buckhead in the West End of Atlanta. She works primarily on weekday mornings. Her weekend sessions are limited and in high demand. She does tend to book 3-6 months in advance.
Giving back to the community has always been very important to Jo. She was honored to be selected as a photographer for Flashes of Hope. Through Flashes of Hope she photographs children with cancer and provides each family with precious portraits of their child which they will treasure for years to come. Jo enjoyed being the official photographer for the Atlanta Charity Clays which has raised close to five million dollars for Atlanta’s children. Garden and Gun has featured her images on their website. Her limited edition Cowboy Collection was commissioned by Amy Lance. All the proceeds benefited the Therapeutic Riding Program at Chastain Horse Park. She now has a permanent art installation of twelve 48x48 pieces at Sutton Middle School highlighting the attributes of the International Baccalaureate student.
Jo loves to travel. She has designed collections of stunning images from New York, Paris and London. Her collections capture classic images of the places many know and love. Her fine art photography pieces are signed and printed on 100% cotton archival paper.
She lives in Atlanta with her husband Brad and their two children Bradley (19) and Lindsey (18)... and Nestle (a small brown dog).
